Scout camera models

Basler Vision Technologies has expanded its Scout series with four new camera models based on Sony's high sensitivity ICX285 CCD sensor. The cameras feature a 30fps image capture rate.

Pylon driver software

Basler Vision Technologies has extended its Pylon driver software package by adding line scan camera support. This package has already been used successfully with Basler area scan cameras.


Basler has introduced a new member of the pioneer series based on Sony's new ICX625 CCD sensor, which features a resolution of 2456 x 2048 pixels.


Basler has added the ruL2098-10gc tri-linear CCD colour line scan camera to its Runner series. The new camera includesa GigE Vision interface and features a line rate of 9.2kHz.


Basler's Pilot series of CCD cameras is now commercially available. The Pilot family consists of 10 camera models from VGA to 5 Megapixels in resolution and up to 210fps in speed.


Basler has released version 1.0 of its pylon driver package, the first official version. It integrates both a GigE Vision and an IEEE 1394 interface.


Basler has started series production of the first members in the new sprint camera family. The new Basler sprint family of line scan cameras includes members with 2k, 4k, and 8k resolution.

New sprint series

The Solution When Throughput and Sensitivity Count. With line rates up to 140 kHz at 2k or 4k resolution, Basler's sprint series cameras set a new standard for the line scan market.

eXcite camera family

The new 'contact plane' housing variant for Basler's eXcite intelligent camera family is designed to maximise heat dissipation via direct metal contact.

Scout camera family

Basler has introduced its new Scout camera family, which is equipped with assorted CMOS image sensors. The first model will be the Micron MT9V022 sensor offering VGA resolution and 60fps.
