Basler has introduced its Aviator camera series with two camera models based on Kodak's KAI-01050 CCD sensor.
The Aviator series exhibits high image quality even at high speed image capture rates. The first models of this series feature 1 Megapixel resolution (1024 x 1024 pixels) at 120fps. The cameras provide progressive scan readout and global shutter technology and are an ideal fit for various applications, such as semiconductor manufacturing, electronics manufacturing, metrology, and medical imaging.
Combined with Basler's Camera Link Interface and Kodak sensor experience, the Aviator offers excellent image results in linearity, dynamic range and noise level.
The camera models feature a compact 62 x 62 x 57mm housing and are available in monochrome or colour. Standard cameras are equipped with a C-Mount adapter but CS-Mount versions will also be available.
