Standard models cannot always meet the specific demands of OEM customers. To accommodate such requirements, IDS also develops and manufactures special customised and project-related solutions. They comprise, for example, single-board cameras with an attached lens, camera arrays with multiple sensor modules, and cameras that can ‘look around corners’.
Thanks to the modular design of the cameras, the special models are fast and cost-effective to implement. This also applies to integrating the camera into the customer’s own application, as software support is also modular. Besides the existing universal drivers and interfaces, special software functions can be programmed to the customer’s specifications.
