IDS Software Suite v4.30

The latest version of the IDS Software Suite will be released on 11 July and supports all current USB 2.0, USB 3.0 and GigE camera models.

In addition, version 4.30 is also WHQL-certified and boasts a range of new features, including a triggered line scan mode for USB 3.0 uEye CP cameras with Cmosis' 4.2-megapixel sensor.

This feature, which is only available at IDS, allows the use of area scan cameras in web inspection systems. With simple setup and low system costs, the USB 3.0 models with the Cmosis sensor are the ideal alternative to expensive line scan cameras.

Driver version 4.30 is also certified by Microsoft’s Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL). A WHQL-certified driver meets specific criteria and is issued with a Windows logo and a digital signature.

IDS also now offers a Linux driver (alpha version) for the Raspberry Pi Embedded Board for feasibility studies and virtualisation purposes.

When combined with IDS USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 cameras, simple and inexpensive applications for kiosk systems, for microscopy, or for the ITS sector can be implemented.
