DataMatrix 4.2

Share this on social media:

Combined with a DataMatrix code reader, intelligent cameras from Vision Components can identify two-dimensional codes which are, for example, printed on pharmaceutical drug packaging. Depending on the camera type, the new program version DataMatrix 4.2, which is available from now on, enables up to 100 readings per second. This improvement was made possible by the integration of the fast library softwary FASTlib. Another add-on is the new IMG 3.C tool for cameras without a video output (e.g. the VCSBC4018), which enables the live transfer of images to a connected PC.

Additionally, the new operating system VCRT 5.23 is available for all camera types with DSPs from Texas Instruments. The feature list includes many improvements, such as support for high-capacity storage media: with the new OS version, Media Cards up to 1Gb can be used to store data (pictures, readings etc.).
