SVS-Vistek has launched SVCam-ECO, a camera family which extends the company's own camera line by 8 ultra-compact cameras using Gigabit Ethernet. The ECO line covers resolutions from VGA up to 2 Megapixel and uses progressive scan CCD sensors and 14 Bit A/D converters - colour and monochrome versions are available.
The compact housing and low weight allows the cameras to be installed easily under limited space conditions. A C-mount optical interface, as well as an SDK for Windows and for Linux is available.
Applications include quality control, automated optical inspection and production surveillance.
