Photron, a high-speed camera manufacturer, has added a device controller software development kit (SDK) for both Matlab and National Instruments' LabView to the Photron Fastcam Viewer (PFV) software package. The PFV functionality integrates control of Photron's extensive range of high speed cameras with the customer's existing Matlab and LabView functionality, enabling seamless high-speed image acquisition and download.
Photron's software intuitive user interface provides easy access to integrate complex functionality with the cameras ability to capture, replay and produce high-speed image sequences in industry-standard file formats, including AVI, MOV, TIFF (8-bit or 26-bit file formats), JPEG, BMP, PNG, RAW and RAWW.
