mvBlueCougar-XD

Matrix Vision has added three new EXview HAD II CCD sensors from Sony to the sensor range of the Dual GigE camera mvBlueCougar-XD.

The three models are: the mvBlueCougar-XD124a, equipped with the 2/3-inch ICX 674 sensor providing 2.8 megapixels and 60fps in full HD; the mvBlueCougar-XD126, which uses Sony's ICX 694 1-inch sensor offering a resolution of 6.1 megapixels and a frame rate of 25fps; and the mvBlueCougar-XD129 incorporating the 1-inch ICX 814 sensor providing a resolution of 9.3 megapixels and 18fps at full AOI.

The mvBlueCougar-XD has two Gigabit Ethernet interfaces. With the Dual GigE solution, the camera has an image memory of 256MB (on top of 64MB resend buffer), 14-bit ADC resolution (CCD), smart digital inputs and outputs and many more features.

Aside from Sony's CCD sensors, the camera family is also available with the CMOS sensors CMV300 (648 x 488 pixels), CMV2000 (2,048 x 1,088 pixels), and CMV4000 (2,048 x 2,048 pixels) from Cmosis.

The camera family is compliant with GenICam and GigE Vision 2.0. Drivers are available for Linux and Windows. Furthermore, the camera is supported by image processing libraries compliant with GigE Vision 2.0. This compatibility makes it possible to operate the camera with a single Gigabit Ethernet port.
