Mako camera family

Allied Vision Technologies has introduced the first six models of its Mako camera family. The Mako is an ultra-compact digital camera for machine vision applications.

The camera has dimensions of 29 x 29mm. Its metal housing is designed for high durability in industrial conditions. The models are fitted with a GigE Vision interface with a screw-lock connector and power over Ethernet. They can be powered with the 24V voltage commonly used in automation machines. With four opto-coupled I/O connections (one in, three out), they can be integrated and synchronised with other system components.

The cameras are available with CCD (Sony) and CMOS (Cmosis) imagers, which include the CMV2000 and CMV4000 sensors from Cmosis. NIR versions of these sensors are also available for applications that require optimised near-infrared sensitivity.
