Kowa has developed a new extremely light and small lens series. This is optimized for 5MP cameras with a chip size of 2/3" and a pixel size of 3.45 μm. The JC5MC has a maximum length of 27mm and a maximum weight of 55g.
The ultra-compact design makes the lenses in this series particularly resistant to shock and vibration.
Since the beginning of 2020 the focal lengths 8mm, 12mm, 16mm and 25mm are available. Later this year the focal lengths 35mm and 50mm will follow.
The new Kowa ultra-compact C-Mount lenses are designed for use in industrial environments: The 2/3" lenses are small, lightweight, robust and vibration resistant.
