MultiPix has launched the Jenoptik IR-TCM640 uncooled OEM IR camera module, which has a 640 x 480 pixel resolution for infrared images.
And if configured with an optional hardware extension for resolution enhancement, it can produce photo realistic IR pictures with 1.2 Megapixel resolution.
The IR-TCM640 is suitable for machine vision and security applications, and comes equipped with standard interfaces such as Firewire, S/C Video and RS232, so can easily be integrated into a variety of applications.
