Euresys Picolo HD

Available from Framos, Euresys has launched a series of PCIe video capture cards compatible with SDI, HDMI, DVI and analogue cameras.

The Picolo HD series acquires high-definition (various resolutions up to 1,920 x 1,080) colour video signals (SDI, HDMI, DVI/A or YPbPr) from one HD camera in a PC environment, and are supplied with Windows-compatible DirectShow drivers.

These cards are suitable for products such as medical devices (for dental or image-guided surgery applications), laboratory or measuring microscopes. They also target single-camera applications requiring high definition such as for video surveillance equipment or for on-site quality control in industrial settings.

The Picolo HD One acquires images from one camera at a resolution and frame rate up to 1080i60, while the Picolo HD 3G is able to reach 1080p60 and is equipped with a four-lane PCI Express bus. The Picolo HD H.264 features hardware compression and delivers two simultaneous compressed video streams.
