Andor Technology, a provider of scientific imaging and spectroscopy solutions, has introduced a set of optimised drivers for Luca R and Luca S imaging EMCCD cameras within the Meta imaging series of acquisition and analysis software, (specifically the Metamorph, Metafluo and Metavue software packages). Andor Luca cameras are supported in the Meta series version 7.5.4 and up.
Andor's Luca family of single photon sensitive imaging cameras are suitable for demanding live cell imaging applications, and are available in a compact, USB 2.0 platform. The QE response of the high-resolution Luca R model is particularly suited to the range of increasingly popular red-emitting fluorophores.
