NIT has released a set of tone mapping algorithms dedicated to its range of Native WDR imaging sensors. These algorithms allow scenes to be displayed with a wide dynamic intra-scene contrast on a simple monitor without losing signal information.
In addition, the NIT tone mapping algorithms are capable of operating with logarithmic output imaging sensors both in monochrome and colour.
