Flir Systems has released a new version of its T650sc thermal imaging camera. Designed for research and development, the T650sc combines high accuracy and sensitivity to deliver accurate measurement of temperature differences of less than 20mK.

The T650sc measures temperature of up to 2,000°C and includes a 5 megapixel digital camera to provide clear visual images that may be overlaid with infrared data. With real-time radiometric recording in the camera, it is possible to capture fast events on the camera’s SD card for further analysis. The camera has a touchscreen user interface for ease of use.

The camera combines feature-rich flexibility with image quality of 640 × 480 pixel infrared resolution. The T650sc is equipped with Flir's multispectral dynamic imaging (MSX) feature, which helps to produce a very detailed image. The camera also has continuous auto-focus.
