Photonfocus camera used in autonomous landing system for small aircraft

The Technical Universities of Braunschweig and Munich have developed a system that enables small aircrafts to land fully automatically. In addition to satellite navigation, the Photonfocus camera MV1-D1312-100-G2 is primarily used as a positioning sensor.

The compact and extremely robust Photonfocus camera MV1-D1312-100-G2 guarantees a fast and precise synchronization of images and navigation data. The integrated LinLog-Technology provides images with a high dynamic range. Even during backlighting and bad weather, the runway is therefore clearly visible.

Thanks to the integrated Global Shutter Sensor A1312, the MV1-D1312-100-G2 is ideal for a wide range of applications, including also high-speed systems.
