Seventeen UKIVA members are exhibiting at the PPMA Total Show at the NEC, 27 – 29 September. This is nearly twice as many members compared to those exhibiting at the last Total Show held in 2013. This reflects the growing opportunities for industrial vision in the areas covered by the show.
UKIVA members exhibiting at the show are Acrovision, Alrad Imaging, Bytronic Automation, Clearview Imaging, Cognex UK, Crest Solutions, IFM Electronic, Industrial Vision Systems, Laetus, Mettler Toledo, Multipix Imaging, Omron Electronics UK, Optel Vision, Pygsa Sistemas Y Aplicaciones, Stemmer Imaging, The Config Team and UPM Conveyors.
Members will be concentrating on practical demonstrations of vision solutions across a broad range of industry-relevant applications. These will include print and packaging inspection, code reading, track & trace, serialisation, 3D imaging, surface inspection, hyperspectral imaging and much more.
UKIVA chairman, Ian Alderton, commented: ‘The high number of UKIVA members exhibiting at the show not only highlights the ever-increasing use of vision but also shows how the Association is steadily growing and broadening its membership base.’ Nine of these members have joined the Association in the last three years.
