Imaging Clamp Meter and Imaging Moisture Meter Plus

Share this on social media:

Flir Systems has released two test and measurement instruments featuring the company's infrared guided measurement (IGM) technology: the CM174 Imaging Clamp Meter and the MR176 Imaging Moisture Meter Plus. Powered by Flir's Lepton thermal camera core, both instruments help professionals locate hidden problems by visualising temperature differences.

The new CM174 is an all-in-one electrical clamp meter equipped with a built-in thermal imager. Designed for electrical professionals, the CM174 visually identifies temperature anomalies before they become a major problem. When facing cluttered wires or scanning complex panels for hazards, IGM guides users without requiring any direct contact with the test site, increasing user safety. The CM174 verifies findings with advanced contact measurement features to help solve complex electrical issues. IGM is also vital for post-repair checks to ensure problem areas have been addressed.

The MR176 Imaging Moisture Meter Plus is a premium meter equipped with IGM that locates potential moisture issues visually through a thermal image. Designed for moisture restoration and remediation, the MR176 provides an advanced solution for professionals who require additional flexibility and more details from their meter readings, including four colour imaging modes, customisable readings, and a field-replaceable temperature/relative humidity sensor.

The Flir CM174 and the MR176 will be available beginning mid-November through Flir distributors.
