HT industry filters

Schneider-Kreuznach presents its latest HT industry filters at Vision 2014. This new series of filters has been especially designed for machine vision companies for use in industrial applications. Thanks to a new coating process (magnetron sputtering), higher and consistently even transmission (HT) can be achieved with steep slopes and better blocking outside the transmission range. The new anti-reflective coating provides reduced reflectivity in the visual and near infrared spectrum and is also harder and therefore more robust.

In addition to a wide choice of catalog items, Schneider-Kreuznach will also be offering customizations for specific applications. This applies on the one hand to the coating that can be designed for specific transmission and reflection wavelengths. On the other hand, highly precise geometric pre-cuts are also possible. Free forms can also be produced using a micro-water jet cutter.

Optical filters provide important advantages for machine vision: They reduce disturbing stray light while considerably improving the image contrast of relevant object properties.

The new HT industry filters will be presented for the first time at Vision (from 4 to 6 November 2014, Stuttgart Trade Fair Center, hall 1, booth G72) to which you are cordially invited.
