Hitachi Gig-E camera series

Hitachi Kokusai Electric Europe has released a camera series with a Gigabit Ethernet interface.

 

The Hitachi Gig-E camera series includes six cameras with VGA up to SXGA resolution, features very small dimensions and is easy to handle.

 

The series includes : the KP-F33GV,which is a monochrome 1/3-inch CCD with VGA resolution and 90fps; the KP-FD33GV, which is a colour 1/3-inch CCD with VGA resolution and 90fps; the KP-F83GV, which is a monochrome 1/3-inch CCD with XGA resolution and 36fps; the KP-FD83GV, which is a colour 1/3-inch CCD with XGA resolution and 36fps; the KP-F140GV, which is a monochrome 1/2-inch CCD with SXGA resolution and 30fps and the KP-FD140GV, which is a colour 1/2-inch CCD with SXGA resolution and 30fps.

The camera series also have additional functions available, including a C-Mount, RGB primary colour mosaic filter (colour versions only), square pixels, Gig-E Vision Protocol and GeniCam compliant, internal/external synchronisation, external Sync Signal VD- and Strobe-Output, external Trigger either via Gig-E Interface or external Triggerinput (12 Pin), one Trigger, Fix Trigger, Restart Trigger and Partial Scan and an electronic Shutter from 10s up to 1/100000s or variable.

The cameras weight around 140g and have dimensions of 44mm (W) x 29mm (H) x 72mm (D) and also feature a frame-on-demand function, adjustable colour saturation, sharpness and brightness and ALC, gain, white balance and gamma.
