A scalable multi-camera vision system, the GEVA300 from Teledyne Dalsa, is aimed at providing a low-cost process inspection capability. The GEVA300 is available from Stemmer Imaging.

The compact vision system supports up to six GigE Vision cameras coupled to an Intel dual-core ATOM architecture for image processing and measurement that offers excellent performance for a wide range of inspection applications.

Vision solutions are set up using iNspect or Sherlock application software, which both offer a wide selection of tools and capabilities for positioning, identification, verification, measurement, and flaw detection. GEVA300 is compatible with a wide range of GigE cameras, which can be mixed to suit the application.
