Dalsa has released three new models in its Falcon high performance camera family, headlined by a high sensitivity VGA camera delivering 300fps. The Falcon VGA300 HG, 1M120 HG, and 1.4M100 HG feature high quality Dalsa CMOS image sensors and are ideal for electronics inspection, semiconductor inspection, industrial metrology (gauging) and other machine vision applications.

The 1M120 HG offers 1 Megapixel resolution with 120fps, while the 1.4M100 HG delivers 1.4 Megapixel resolution with 100fps. In addition to the HG models optimised for high sensitivity, Dalsa also offers the Falcon 1.4M100 XDR, a 1.4 Megapixel camera delivering 100fps and optimised for high dynamic range. Not only do these new Falcons feature CMOS technology for lower power consumption, all four support PoCL, removing the need for a separate power cable and reducing system cost and cabling complexity.

Fully programmable, these cameras incorporate exposure control, gain and offset adjustment, and flat-field correction to optimise system performance. A compact 44 x 44 x 44mm housing and convenient mounting options are provided.
