EVT has released the EyeVBox 1 image processing system, which offers a dual-core 64-bit x86 CPU as well as two USB 3.0 ports and six USB 2.0 ports. GigE cameras can also be connected to the system.
EyeVBox 1 can be operated with passive cooling, making the system suitable, not only for the clean room, but also for dusty or dirty environments. The system is equipped with Windows 8 or Linux operating systems, as well as EyeVision image processing software.
Inspection programs for image evaluation are created by drag-and-drop within EyeVision software. The powerful software command set includes tools for measurement technology and object detection as well as colour inspection and code reading (DMC, barcode, QR).
