EyeScan 3D system

Share this on social media:

EVT has integrated a Kinect sensor into its EyeScan 3D system. The expanded EyeVision system opens up new applications in robot control with the combination of a depth sensor and a normal camera. Classic applications are bin picking and 3D matching. Picking up objects is facilitated by the combination of the two sensors.

The system has many advantages in the field of robot palletisation, depalletisation, sorting and object recognition. Spatial positioning of the part along with a quality check can be performed by the system.

The system's software library contains instruction sets for many conventional robots, such as Kuka, ABB, Stäubli and others. All classic image processing methods are available for the system, such as reading tasks (OCR/OCV, bar code, DMC, QR code), measuring tasks and much more.
