Andor Technology, a provider of scientific imaging and spectroscopy solutions, has launched the Clara interline CCD camera. This latest addition to Andor's family of low light imaging cameras is based around the 1.3 Megapixel ICX285 sensor from Sony and is delivers high sensitivity and dynamic range performance.
Dynamic events can be captured with excellent quantitative stability via low noise 10 or 20MHz readout modes using a USB 2.0 interface. Andor's iCam technology and I/O functionality enables high acquisition efficiency through live cell microscopy software, and an accurate hardware generated timestamp ensures temporal precision. The compact, robust design and accessible SDK, makes Clara ideally suited to OEM integration.
