The camera manufacturer VRmagic is now a partner in the MVTec Image Acquisition Partner Program. With the release of Halcon 8.0.2, MVTec provides an interface to cameras from VRmagic.

'A complete Halcon interface has probably never before been programmed in just 10 days,' said Christoph Zierl, development manager at MVTec, who was full of praise for the fast software integration by the development engineers at VRmagic. 'Both the Halcon Imaging Acquisition Interface and the VRmagic SDK are well documented and highly structured, and this meant that it was possible to achieve fast integration,' commented Thomas Ruf, development manager at VRmagic.

MVTec and VRmagic will continue to work closely together in maintaining and supporting the interface.
