Vitronic, a provider of machine vision to a number of industries including photovoltaics, has upgraded its production building and headquarters with solar panels. A total of 259 modules with a performance of 56.98kWp were installed, with Vitronic's managing director, Dr.-Ing Norbert Stein, and Mayor of Wiesbaden, Dr Helmut Müller, inaugurating the systems on 14 May.

The new production building and redesigned headquarters were initiated in November 2007. With the installation of the systems on both buildings Vitronic celebrates a new milestone in nearly 25 years of company history.
