UKIVA to attend Vision 2008

Share this on social media:

For the second year running, the UK Industrial Vision Association (UKIVA) will be at Vision 2008, the machine vision trade fair held in Stuttgart, Germany from 4 - 6 November.

UKIVA director, Don Braggins, said: '"Vision" is the premier European exhibition for the machine vision industry, and we think it is extremely important for the Association to have a presence there. Having a stand fulfils a number of purposes. Firstly it gives UKIVA members who are perhaps visiting but not exhibiting themselves or with a European partner a point of contact. Secondly, it provides a location that members can use for business meetings during the show.'

He continued: '"Vision" provides a perfect opportunity to attract more international members to UKIVA. Our International Membership category is designed for suppliers of relevant products who do not have a permanent presence in the UK or Ireland but who supply either dedicated application-specific vision-based products, or who supply to an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) customer base, obviating the need for local support.'
