Strong growth in sales for Basler Components

Basler Vision Technologies has announced an 18 per cent increase in sales turnover for its Components business unit in the 2007 fiscal year compared to figures for 2006. Totalling €27.5m (€23.3m for 2006), Basler Components generated more than half of the group's turnover, underlining its importance as a growth driver within the Basler Group.

Now ranked second in the world as a supplier in digital camera solutions for capital goods manufacturers, Basler Components attributes its growth to product launches and the expansion of its worldwide sales and support channels, which includes its new sales office in Korea.
