Stemmer Imaging has signed an agreement with Phlox for the exclusive distribution in the UK of its range of ultra thin LED backlights for machine vision.
Phlox backlights are characterised by a number of features including high uniformity of illumination (up to ±5 per cent on the panel), high brightness (up to 50,000cd/m2 in continuous mode) and ultra thin construction (8mm thick).
Mark Williamson, UK sales and marketing director at Stemmer Imaging, said: 'We are delighted to be adding the Phlox range of products to our illumination portfolio for machine vision. Their brightness and slim construction makes them suitable for a host of applications ranging from bottle inspection to dimensional measurement. There is a comprehensive range of standard products with sizes up to 600 x 600mm which are available from stock and Phlox also offers a custom lighting design and production service.'
The standard Phlox range of white LED backlights features ultra bright, high brightness and low cost versions. Other backlights include red and high brightness RGB LEDs. On-Axis white LEDs are also available.
