Partner programme to create software-hardware interfaces

MVTec Software has launched an official partner programme to strengthen its relationship with suppliers of image acquisition equipment.

The MVTec Image Acquisition Partner Program should provide closer collaboration in developing and maintaining the image acquisition interfaces between MVTec’s software and other vendor’s hardware systems. The program will ensure that both the hardware and the software manufacturer have sound knowledge of each other’s products to provide an optimal image acquisition solution.

Christoph Zierl, director software development at MVTec and responsible for third-party integration, said: ‘It ensures that both parties are closely connected and continuously work together.’

Members include: Allied Vision, Basler, Baumer, BitFlow, Festo, IDS, JAI, Leutron, Lumenera, Mikrotron, NET, Opteon, Photonfocus, Pleora, Point Grey, Prosilica, Sick IVP, Silicon Software, Tattile, and The Imaging Source.
