The UK Industrial Vision Association's (UKIVA) latest revision of ‘The Machine Vision Handbook’ is now available as a 16-page PDF from the Association’s website. It can be downloaded from www.ukiva.org/pages/resources.html.

Oki Electric Industry has been awarded the Grand Prix in the Software Product of the Year 2007 awards by the Information-technology Promotion Agency, Japan (IPA) for its face image processing middleware, Face Sensing Engine.
