New agreement to reduce delivery time of thermal cameras

Share this on social media:

The Stemmer Imaging Group is to distribute Opgal Optronic Industries’ products in Europe.

Opgal, based in Karmiel, Israel, manufactures sensitive cooled and uncooled thermal imaging and infrared cameras engines for industrial, R&D, defence, security and paramilitary applications.

The Stemmer Imaging Group consists of Stemmer Imaging, who will distribute the products in Germany and Switzerland; Firstsight Vision, who will serve the UK; and Imasys, who will sell the products in France.

Firstsight director Mark Williamson, said: ‘Unlike many of the IR manufacturers, OPGAL use Israeli and European sensor technology, so the long delays that occur with many suppliers to gain US Export licences does not apply, significantly reducing delivery times.’
