Following the success of last year’s debut event, the MV China machine vision trade fair is to take place from 22 to 24 March 2007, and will once again be coordinated by Messe Stuttgart. Messe Stuttgart also runs the hugely successful Vision event held every November in Stuttgart.
The event will be held for the second time at the Shanghai Exhibition Centre from 22 to 24 March. The Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society will take overall charge of the show, with partners including Messe Stuttgart and the German Industry and Commerce Centre in Shanghai, who will be organising the International Pavilion, and the North American Automated Imaging Association (AIA). This year the German Engineering Federation (VDMA) and the European Machine Vision Association have also agreed to take part.
Last year 64 exhibitors from nine countries participated, and more than 3,600 visitors attended the event, which covered vision applications in car manufacturing, the semiconductor industry, and the control and packaging industry.
