Mikrotron will distribute Fastec Imaging's high-speed cameras throughout Germany and Austria. Mikrotron manufactures high-speed video systems, machine vision cameras, and frame grabbers.

'We are pleased to be offering Fastec cameras in the German and Austrian markets. By signing the agreement with Fastec Imaging we are able to expand Mikrotron's product range. Fastec products ideally complement our own product range, because it gives us a much broader capability in offering our customers the perfect solution for every special application.' said Juergen Zimmermann, VP marketing and sales at Mikrotron.

Stephen Ferrell, president of Fastec added: 'It is extremely important for Fastec Imaging to work with a distributor who shares the same goals as Fastec and has the ability to provide our customers with first class service and support. Mikrotron clearly fits the criteria we identified to promote our high-speed digital video cameras effectively and to allow Fastec to move the business forward in this key strategic market.'

Mikrotron has also concluded a sales and marketing agreement with Menzel Vision and Robotics as its distribution partner in India. Menzel Vision and Robotics is a major provider for imaging solutions in India.
