Hoodtech appoints Mark Long as director of business development

HoodTech Vision, a manufacturer of low size, weight, and power stabilised imaging systems for small manned and unmanned systems, has appointed Mark Long as the company's director of business development.

With seven years of prior experience in programme management of unmanned aircraft systems’ operations at Insitu, Long has managed over 15 contracts and more than 175,000 hours of ISR combat flight hours. At HoodTech Vision, he will direct the development of new business opportunities and the introduction of products into new markets.

Chris Johnston, VP sales and marketing for infrared projects at HoodTech Vision, said: ‘We are extremely pleased to welcome Mark on board. His breadth of operational experience in combat zones, his programme management skills, and his consummate professionalism will perfectly complement our HoodTech Vision team.’
