European high-tech provider Framos has expanded its operations to North America and opened Framos Technologies in Ottawa, Canada.

Several recent industry reports predict an ongoing increase of the Machine Vision market, including a growing demand from North America. This results in an immense potential for Framos to allow companies to improve their processes including sorting, material handling, robot guidance, and optical gauging in terms of automation as well as in quality assurance and productivity.

‘Our aim is to enable our customers as manufacturers, system integrators, and researchers to apply and benefit from machine vision and imaging technologies,' explained Dr Andreas Franz, CEO of Framos. 'Based on the disproportional demand from North America and our excellent on-site industry network, we are excited to complete our global imaging services and to continue the growth of Framos. As one of the founding companies in imaging, we are happy to serve our customers worldwide.’
