BalaJi MicroTechnologies to distribute Kodak and FLI products in India

BalaJi MicroTechnologies, an Indian manufacturer and distributor of high-performance CCD and CMOS cameras, has signed distribution agreements with both Kodak Image Sensor Solutions and Finger Lakes Instrumentation (FLI).

Kodak is a world leader in imaging, with more than 30 years' experience in the development and manufacture of image sensors. By working together, customers in India will now have improved access to Kodak’s portfolio of high-performance CCD image sensors that serve commercial, industrial, and professional imaging markets.

'We are very excited to bring Kodak Image Sensor products into our portfolio, allowing us to cater to a wide variety of market segments,' said Nitin Aggarwal, CEO of BalaJi MicroTechnologies.

'India is a fast-growing market for products requiring high performance image sensors,' said David Mills, European sales manager at Kodak Image Sensor Solutions. 'With the dedicated imaging expertise provided by BalaJi MicroTechnologies, Kodak is now well positioned to serve this exciting marketplace.'

Finger Lakes Instrumentation, headquartered in USA, is a leading company of imaging systems. The company supplies a variety of imaging systems such as its proprietary digital radiography cameras, medical imaging cameras, scientific cameras and astronomical cameras.

Greg Terrance, general manager of FLI Cameras, commented: 'FLI is ready to enter the India market with quality high-performance cooled CCD cameras, and we are confident that our quality products will make a significant impact.
