AVT Asia starts operations

Share this on social media:

Allied Vision Technologies' newly founded subsidiary Allied Vision Technologies Asia Pte. Ltd. started operations on 1 July. The company was incorporated in Singapore in February of this year and is now able to take over the sales and support activities of the camera manufacturer in the Asia-Pacific region.

Since its incorporation, AVT Asia has now moved into large office spaces in downtown Singapore and set up the necessary infrastructure. Staff hiring has also taken place to support Boon-Keng Teng, Asia Pacific sales manager.

Thomas Lin Xiaochun will provide technical support as a field application engineer to customers and distributors of the region. Kristin Liu Liyu is appointed as office manager and will handle the subsidiary's sales administration and logistics.

'With this core team and the Singapore office, we will be able to offer local support to our Asian customers,' said Boon-Teng Keng. 'After a transition phase necessary to train the new staff and take over the Asia-Pacific accounts from AVT GmbH of Germany, we expect to be fully operational by the end of the year at the latest.'
