Applied Vision receives Leading Edge Award

Applied Vision Corporation has received a Leading Edge Award presented by the Entrepreneurs EDGE (Economic Development through Growth and Entrepreneurship), an organisation dedicated to growth and development in Northeast Ohio. Applied Vision, a provider of machine vision inspection systems for container manufacturing, was recognised for its leadership in creating economic value for the region with a 50 per cent increase in pre-tax earnings and a 35 per cent increase in employee compensation in 2007.

'Our team takes great pride in knowing that our dedication to making Applied Vision the global standard in machine vision also contributes to the advancement of the Northeast Ohio community,' said Manijeh Novini, chief financial officer of Applied Vision.
