Alexander Berg has been appointed manager of sales and marketing at Kappa opto-electronics in Gleichen, Germany. Previously, Berg was CEO of a software development company and a clinical research organisation.
'Breaking into new markets will play a prominent role in achieving our goals,' declared Jürgen Haese, CEO of Kappa. 'Berg's priorities will be the expansion of Kappa's customer base in existing business segments, further development of our sophisticated product portfolio as well as operative measures to open new target markets. The beginning of the new fiscal year in May 2009 sees preparations to introduce new camera models to the market, among them machine vision and X-ray cameras.'
