SVS-Vistek launches camera for semiconductor inspection

SVS-Vistek semiconductor inspection

SVS-Vistek has released its hr65CXGE 65-megapixel colour camera inspection of flat panel displays, printed circuit boards, and semiconductors.

The camera features a 10GigE interface that enables connectivity via standard Ethernet cables up to 100 metres. Combined with GeniCam, this presents an upgrade path for drop-in replacement of GigE cameras in existing equipment or production lines, and for integration in new installations.

Also, being Ethernet-based with power over Ethernet, the camera helps accelerate digital transformation at manufacturing sites and in developing next-generation industrial IoT platforms.

The system’s global shutter permits image acquisition simultaneously over the entire sensor area.

High sensitivity and frame rate

The Gpixel 65-megapixel CMOS image sensor provides excellent sensitivity, with a feature set that includes defect pixel and lens shading correction, ROI, LUT, binning, gamma, offset, and auto exposure. When set at its maximum 9344 x 7000 pixel resolution, the camera's 10GigE interface enables a rate of 17.4 frames-per-second.

An Industrial TTL-24V I/O interface with SafeTrigger, programmable logic functions, sequencer and timer, and RS232 for applications requiring the acquisition of a frame at a precise moment is another advantageous feature. Also, an integrated multi-channel LED strobe controller helps to optimize brightness and reduce motion blur of fast-moving objects.

The IP30-rated housing for the hr65CXGE is rugged yet compact at 70 x 70 x 75.9mm.
