Jenoptik has launched its VarioCAM high-definition thermography camera series with 3.1 Megapixel infrared resolution and a laser range finder for distance correction.
The VarioCAM HD records radiometric images and image sequences of 1,024 x 768 pixel resolution at a frame rate of up to 30Hz. Jenoptik’s opto-mechanical resolution enhancement technology boosts the image resolution to a maximum of 3.1 Megapixels.
The camera's eye-safe laser range finder supports its integrated auto-focus function, while a GPS module enables tagging of geo-information to image data. Additional still-image or video data is acquired by an integrated 8 Megapixel CMOS camera.
