Framos is now supplying the Strobe Controller (SC) series from Smartek, which provide excellent switching capacities and precision for industrial machine vision applications.
The latest models provide 16A per channel and pulses of down to 1µs. All SC stand out with their time trigger resolution of 1µs and a current pulse resolution of 1mA. This means LED illumination devices last way beyond their standard mode of operation.
Due to ultra-short but high power switching, the illumination intensity can be significantly increased with reduced thermal effects for the LEDs. These strobe controllers come with a feature set of up to six parallel channels, power out for a cooling fan, and comfortable Ethernet access to the controller settings.
The combination of high performance and competitive prices means the devices are suitable for a growing list of most complex and demanding applications in industrial machine vision.
