Teledyne Dalsa has introduced two models in its Shad-o-Box HS X-ray detector line, the Shad-o-Box 3K HS and Shad-o-Box 6K HS.
The new detectors feature resolutions of 2,304 x 1,300 and 2,304 x 2,940 pixels, with active areas of 11.4 x 6.4cm and 11.4 x 14.6cm respectively. Both models use a 49.5µm pixel size. The new Shad-o-Box HS detectors deliver real-time frame rates of up to 10fps, high sensitivity, and superb resolution in a single-tile, large area device that is fully integrated and features a fast, reliable Gigabit Ethernet interface.
The detectors offer a combination of high resolution and fast imaging suitable for industrial X-ray inspection, scientific imaging, and non-destructive testing, including Printed Circuit Board (PCB) inspection, microfocus Computed Tomography (CT) and small-animal imaging.
Shad-o-Box HS detectors use Teledyne Dalsa’s advanced CMOS image sensing technology, enabling the delivery of low-dose X-ray images that yield higher image quality than a-Si flat panels and image intensifier devices.
