Visitech has introduced the Luxbeam 4500 DLP camera boards. The product comprises the DLP Discovery 4100 chip set from Texas Instruments, now covering the full range of display sizes from 0.55-inch XGA up to 0.95-inch 1,080p (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) and UV, IR and visible light ranges.
The Luxbeam 4500 DLP board comes as a plug-and-play module with SW installed. It comprises a formatter board and the DMD board, carrying the various DMD versions and connecting via flex cables. Direct access to the digital micro mirror display enables creation of binary or greyscale patterns with update rates up to 32kHz. A powerful FPGA chip allows flexible adaptation and re-programming for customised solutions.
