EyeCheck-Reader systems

Share this on social media:

EVT has introduced its EyeCheck-Reader systems, designed to detect and read conventional codes such as QR-Codes, DMC, bar codes, OCR/OCV, colour ring codes, and pharmaceutical codes. Application areas reach from the electrical industry and the food industry to the pharmaceutical industry.

Depending on the system the complete evaluation electronics as well as the illumination and the optics are integrated in a cabinet measuring  65 x 60 x 65mm. System versions are available with resolutions of 640 x 480 pixels, 1,024 x 768 pixels, 1,280 x 1,024 pixels, and 2,500 x 2,000 pixels.

The system identifies the code automatically in the image field at a rate of up to 102 images per second. It does not matter if the codes are rotated, mirrored or inverted.

The OCR/OCV command of the EC-Reader systems allows the user to verify many different characters. The system only needs to be configured once with the EV software.

The system reads damaged, blurred and low-contrast codes without any problems and informs the user about incorrect codes. The different communication and access possibilities simplify the exchange of data. Interfaces via diver bus systems and to PLC allow easy process integration.
