CheckSight PC-camera

Leutron Vision has released the CheckSight PC-camera with 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor, large choice of sensors and a multitude of interfaces.

The camera is available with a choice of 26 different monochrome or colour sensors with resolutions from VGA up to 5 Megapixels. Either C-mount or CS-mount lenses can be used.

The camera has a 1.6GHz CPU and 1GB DDR2 RAM clocked at 800MHz. Permanent memory is via industrial grade compact flash card. The CheckSight has a Gigabit Ethernet interface while a DVI-D interface offers connection of monitors or projectors with resolutions up to 1,920 x 1,200 pixels. In addition, the camera has audio I/O for connecting a microphone and speakers. Peripherals can be pluged into the three USB 2.0 ports.

Two TTL-inputs, two TTL-outputs, four fast optocoupler inputs and outputs as well as a RS232 interface are built into the camera. The operating system is Windows XP SP III. Other operating systems willl be supported.

The CheckSight's camera software is fully GenTL compliant. Therefore all major image processing libraries such as Halcon, OpenCV and Common Vision Blox can be used. Also, image acquisition code can easily be created using the Simplon Software Developers Suite, which comes with an API for C/C++, C# and VB.Net and helpfull tools like the Simplon Sourcecode Generator, and extensive documentation.
