iENSO (www.ienso.com), a leading provider of embedded vision platforms that deliver Imaging, Edge AI and Cloud solutions to the world’s leading brands through its EVPaaS suite of solutions, has made commercially available embedded vision camera modules based on the latest Ambarella CV series SoC’s.

CV22 and CV28 from Ambarella are embedded vision System on Chips (SoCs) that have an unparalleled reputation for state-of-the-art computer vision technology and image processing in a single, low-power design. Based on this technology, iENSO has engineered camera modules with flexible connectivity options, optimizing processing on the edge and in the cloud that can layer end-to-end security.

iENSO’s CV22 and CV28-based camera modules offer product companies and OEMs unprecedented speed to market while retaining the flexibility required to develop a truly innovative embedded vision product.

“The most exciting innovation in embedded vision is currently happening in vision data processing. Particularly in optimization of the Edge and the Cloud. The System on Chip (SoC) is driving this new reality”, said Sebastien Dignard, President of iENSO. “With the exceptional capabilities of the CV22 and CV28 modules from Ambarella, we are able to offer our clients an end-to-end solution that is sure to be a competitive advantage in the emerging space of embedded vision.”

iVS-CV28P is the CV28-based camera module from iENSO, ideal for applications where processing power meets stringent requirements for size, power consumption, and cost, such as IoT, consumer/SMB surveillance, precision farming, and home appliances. Features include:

  • Excellent on-device AI/CNN processing capability for high volume applications
  • Ultra Low Power Mode for use in battery operated devices
  • Best-in class image quality for consumer and small business applications

iVS-CV22 is the CV22-based camera module from iENSO, ideal for applications driven by a higher need for processing power, such as commercial surveillance, drones, industrial OEMs, and aftermarket automotive. Features include:

  • Dedicated High performance AI/CNN vector processing unit for commercial applications
  • Multi-sensor support
  • Significant power savings versus popular commercial grade SoC’s (sub XW @ 4K/60fps)
