Automation UK, the largest annual event in the UK showcasing leading automation, robotic and machine vision suppliers, is quickly gathering momentum after securing support from some of the biggest names in the sector.

ABB, Schubert UK, FANUC, CKF Systems, KUKA and Mills CNC are just some of the names backing the new venture and the support of these industry heavyweights will ensure the show lives up to its billing as the must-attend event for businesses operating in the UK automation and robotics markets.

Co-located with established industrial vision confex, MVC, Automation UK will highlight the latest industrial products and services, robots, robotic systems, systems integration, automation control parts and systems, sensors and machine safety to an eager array of decision makers, buyers and sellers from across the UK and beyond.

The exhibition has been launched by a group of trade associations championing the use and development of automation and industrial robots in British industry. BARA (British Automation & Robot Association) is the respected advocate of the robotics and automation industries, while UKIVA (UK Industrial Vision Association) promotes the use of Machine Vision technology throughout UK industry. The two bodies share an affinity based on the combined use of vision and robotics within the end-to-end production line process.

The focal point of the exhibition is a dedicated new website – www.automation-uk.co.uk - containing a wealth of information about the event including more about who is exhibiting, the benefits of taking part and the latest Automation UK news. There is a downloadable version of the new Exhibitor Brochure and the latest Automation UK video – plus a countdown calendar to the event next June.

Exhibitors at the event will span sectors including:

• Robots / Robotic Systems
• Automated Assembly Machines & Systems
• Parts Handling Equipment/Conveyors and materials
• System Integrators
• Industrial Automation Control
• Sensors and Sensor Integrated Systems
• Automatic Identification & Data Collection/RFID
• Machine safety
• Education & Skills

Mark Stepney, Managing Director of Schubert UK and a PPMA board member, said: “Automation UK is intended to be the national automation and robotics show. As a content-led event it offers UK audiences the latest automation and robotics solutions available, all under one roof. It will be the perfect place for stakeholders to come and view the best new products and services on the market and I would urge anyone interested in exhibiting to visit our new website for more information.

The future of the Automation and Robotics industry in the UK is set to be healthy and prosperous with UK Government investment via the Made Smarter Industrial Strategy, which has set aside £455BN in a 10-year strategy with £184BN specifically allocated to automation and robotics.

Automation UK takes place at the CBS Arena, Coventry between 20th-21st June 2023.
